A Different View of Upper Yosemite Falls
Upper Yosemite Falls is more glorious than ever with the phenomenal winter rain and snow. I was captivated by the soft wispy look of the water as it tumbled down the tall cliff. For a different kind of picture of the falls, I zoomed in to capture the water's softness against the hard vertical granite wall. A ledge with trees near the bottom before it plunges into the Lower Falls provided an anchor for the image. I was pleased with the result, vaguely reminiscent of a Chinese scroll painting.
