So where am I, is this earth or some otherworldly terrain? The hot spring area named Hverarond, east of "Mt. Namafjall", is one of the largest sulfur spring areas in Iceland in the lake Myvatn region. Given the weather conditions in winter, we got delayed driving in a blizzard, arrived only mid-morning here when the light was not great for shooting the sulphur pools per say but offered some incredible shadows and liquid gold light that just made the terrain look like from the sets of starwars!
