Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque in Famagusta
One of the many views offered today by Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, formerly St Nicholas Cathedral, built in Famagusta between 1298 and 1312 and used for the coronation of the Kings of Jerusalem and Armenia for centuries. After the Ottoman conquest of Cyprus the cathedral, considered one of the most beautiful building of the Mediterranean, was transformed in a mosque.
