I took this photo near a river in my neighborhood. I have always been fascinated with swans. Their majestic beauty never fails to inspire. I used my 300 mm telephoto lens to get this close up shot. It amazes me when the beauty of nature is revealed through mathematical relationships. The swan is seen preening and almost resembles the shape of a Nautilus shell- both resemble the geometric similarity of the golden spiral.
