    Edit Photo Details Two Muslim Girls During Jum'ah Prayers   #muslim #iraq #middleeast #kurds #jumahprayer #kudistan
Their chadors were longer than they were tall. Both girls came and sat close to me in silence while we listened to the imam teach over the intercom during weekly Jum'ah prayers. He was upstairs with the men. It was Friday prayer and I loved the light through those windows, and how soft and white and clean the fabric wrapped around them was. (May 2016)
