These men—one Muslim from Mosul, and the other a Yazidi from Shingal—come from groups historically at odds . Both men are family leaders who have lived through the horrors of ISIS. Yet they have stood together like brothers living side-by-side for two years displaced in Soran. Here Abu Raeed was leaving to take family home to rebuild in Mosul.
