    Reported by:

A Nepalese porter tops the long stream of steps that lead to the small village of Hille in the Himalayan Annapurna Conservation Area. Experienced porters like this one can carry between 20 and 50kg in a single journey into the mountains wearing nothing more than an old jacket and worn out pair of sneakers. This ladder was probably going to be used for construction work after the earthquake that shattered the poor in the countryside in 2015.
