Dragonfly on Cattails
On a recent hike in Algonkian Park, near the Potomac River in Northern Virginia, I came upon a patch of cattails. Buzzing around overhead like mini-drones were several dragonflies. They would alight on the cattails for just a few seconds before becoming airborne again. I was able to catch this one with my camera just as he landed.
