Raramuri Dance
Raramuris celebrate the Holy Week by dancing around the main square of the town of Norogachi, Chihuahua in Mexico. The dance is called the "pintados" dance, in which they paint with white dots their bodies and with the sound of the drums, make elliptical dances during the whole day and night. It is a colorful and very vivid celebration that combines both, Catholicism and Raramuri knowledge, in a mixture that can be seen throughout the Holy Week.
