After living abroad for 6 years, I spent a month traveling in the Northwest USA. Sometimes we don't see the beauty in our own "backyard" so to speak. As I crossed the mountains into east Washington state, the valley opened up to literally miles and miles of green wheat. The colors were so vivid and clear I had to stop. As my husband was saying I had to hurry up because we needed to get back on the road.... this was the last shot. It was when I noticed the ladybugs as nature does it's thing.
