When I first saw this man, I thought he was dangerously close to the edge. His focus was on the valley below, away from the beautiful Petra buildings behind him. I saw his binoculars and tried to see what he was so intently looking for. Then, in the distance, I saw a group of tourists riding on some donkeys. It all made sense.
