    Working the herd, mending the fences, and branding are all part of the spring season in rural Nevada. Cowboys have gear, some old, some new. It's not an easy life. It's a gamble most years. It's a working culture of all its own. But most of all they have perseverance day in and day out. They are not only working for a livelihood, but in keeping their tradition alive for future generations.
