I spent the past year (April 2016 - February 2017) living in Samut Songkhram, Thailand as a foreign language English teacher. Shortly after I arrived, my school had its ten year anniversary and threw a huge party complete with mountains of food, song, and traditional dance performed by the students and teachers. This young girl was one of my students. It was one of the best days of my entire year.
