Amber lagoons
My mother and I waited beside a train track in Old Faro, Portugal for my father. We sat on an old stone wall gazing at the near bye lagoons of the Ria Formosa, the sun began to set as we sat waiting. The glorious sun set quickly turned the sky gold, amber and orange which then reflected onto the lagoon. My mother said the lagoon looked like pools of liquid amber in that moment I remembered I had my camera on me, I snapped a shot quick enough before the sun had vanished into the horizon.
