Forster’s Tern Fishing - 3
Forster’s terns are small and fly very fast in random zig zag patterns. They fly around or hover over a spot searching for a fish then go into fast diving into the water if they see one. They are in and out of the water so fast that it is very challenge to photograph them catching a fish in the water. But it is very rewarding if you do catch one in action especially with a fish in it’s mouth. Captured in a local salt marsh in Bay Area, CA.
