While on a cold winter's hike up Table Mountain, it amazed me how serene the mountain is despite lying at the heart of on of Africa's great cities. What could be the scene of a lush rain forest in the mountains of Asia is actually a stunning location right on my doorstep. The cloudy day creates a cool light that accentuates the fresh greenery of the mountain and the curvature of the rock frames an old abandoned shack on the cliff edge with great texture.
