The birds in Galapagos are perfectly happy with us humans around which provides great opportunities to take photographs. I loved the contrast of this gulls red eye against the black feathers on its head and the softness of the white downy feathers on its wing. This photo is obviously cropped in order to make the eye the main focus of this shot.
