Coffee pickers
Family isn’t always blood. Bonds of love and friendship can be formed in any number of different ways, including through hard work. Here coffee pickers embrace, smile and relax after a long day of picking coffee in the mountains 40 km south of Bucaramanga, Colombia. Chasing the coffee harvest, which can span several months at a time, many pickers travel from farm to farm throughout the region providing their labor and spending both day and night together away from their own blood relatives.
