    This image is a self portrait taken with a timer from a sheltered spot on my back porch. Gales were blowing from hurricane strength winds so strong that I could almost lay back on them. The sea spray salted the windows of our beach cottage as the waves broached the sea wall. Fortunately, the hurricane calmed before our home was engulfed by the storm.
