    A young priest in resplendent ceremonial dress performing “Ganga Aarti” at the banks of the sacred river for Hindus, the Ganges in Varanasi, India with offering flowers to the God. This daily spectacular Hindu ritual begins in the evening and lasts for 45 minutes. This ritual worship traces its origins back to the Vedic time (circa 2000 BCE). The various ingredients of this ritual includes water, flowers, lamps, incense, bells, conch shells and various other ritual objects.
