Lighthouse Rock
The #Lighthouse Rock is one of the most known canyon formations in the #palodurocanyon. The Canyon is made up of four formations: the Quartermaster(comprised of the red, lower slopes), the Tecovas(the multicolored layer above the red layer are known to contain dinosaurs!), the Trujillo(this forms many of the Canyon's ledges composed of coarse sandstone.), and the Ogallala(These are the ledges at the top of the canyon. Fossils of saber-toothed cats lurk in this rock!) @palodurocanyon
