The townhall (raadhuis) of Hilversum was designed by the city's architect Willem Dudok. His style became one with Hilversum as he designed many more buildings and parks in the city. Some say he was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. Dudok designed also buildings in several other places in Holland and around the world.
