Wilderness sure is humbling. As a group we were humbled by the mountains' indifference to us. As an individual I was humbled by how hard it is to function at a high level in challenging conditions and new terrain day after day and week after week. I think a good dose of humility does us all well, both as individuals and as a species. Here's to aiming for the stars, and to the moments that bring us back down to Earth.
