Murph was a white elephant gift who became our guardian angel of sorts. He traveled on the back of my pack, enjoying the views as we went. It's funny... I can't say I'm usually a gnome fan. But sometimes a little ceramic man with a bluebird on his shoulder goes far for rallying a community around a shared vision of sorts.
