Late spring and summer is when you see male whitetails in bachelor groups. In six to eight weeks these seven bucks will begin rub the velvet off of their antlers and go their separate ways in preparation for the fall rut. Everything here is reciprocal. The right amount of rain increases crop yields, natural habitat and healthy herds. It truly disturbs me that NC allows for farmers to get deprivation permits to kill deer. If a farmer can not afford to feed a deer then he should not farm!
