    This male Cooper's Hawk and it's mate have 3, yes 3, healthy juveniles. A friend bird watcher and I have been watching this family for a while this year. In this photo the male has brought his catch to the tree and began calling for his mate. Soon after this image was taken she swooped down, grabbed it up and took it to a tree close by and began plucking it in preparation to enjoy her lunch.
