While visiting Israel it is nearly impossible to find reprieve from the amassment of tourists, but after seeing the sites in Akko I was able to break away and walk through one of the local communities. I found myself in this small quiet courtyard - completely alone. Just as I was leaving this woman entered onto the porch, but didn't even seem to acknowledge my presence as she went about cleaning.
