Edit Photo Details Mating Manta Rays in Mexico   #earthcanvas
While fishing off the coast of La Paz, on the Sea of Cortez, a few weeks ago, we witnessed the male manta rays flying out of the water, performing their mating dance. They would fly out of the water, some would flip over and make a huge splash. Others were more aerodynamic in their flight and landing. It was amazing. The island in the distance is Isla Cerralvo. This area is magical in terms of the variety of sea life.
