    During my recent visit to the Roman ruins of Pompeii, I stepped into this ancient empty gladiator training courtyard for this photo. Wild fires from the slopes of nearby Mount Vesuvius sent these ominous looking smoke formations towards Pompeii. An eerily near-authentic experience!
