I passed by this boathouse at the side of the road on the east shore of Þingvallavatn, the huge lake formed by the Mid-Atlantic ridge separating down the length of Iceland. There was no one around for miles. Malvíkur is a small cove in the lake's south-east corner. The boathouse hadn't been used in a while by the look of it.
