Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto, one of the most popular buildings in Japan. It indeed is a really beautiful piece of architecture and should be on everyones bucket list when visiting Kyoto. Even though, what really impressed me were the pavillons gardens surrounding the building and the lake. It seems like every detail here was put deliberately together making up a perfect work of art. Even looking at this scene relaxes me, feeling the desire to just sit there and get a clear head.
