While in Venice, in an attempt to get away from the craziness of it all, my traveling companions and I tried to walk around around using back alleys and streets. Now that I know that I can navigate that, I feel as if I could travel anywhere! In that congested city this vacant waterway was a peaceful respite for the soul.
