I was actually looking for some birds to photograph when I heard a large Splash in the lake next to me. I saw two huge turtles. After few minutes I realized that the turtles were mating and that the one on top is the male and of course the one in front of him is to female. He actually had her underwater for a few minutes because I didn't see her for a while. I was able to take another photo when she finally came up out of the water for breath of air. look for my next photo
