I found this fisherman completely alone on a crystal lake at about 6:00 am, surrounded by fog. The scene drew me in because of how still and peaceful he looked out there with no modern distractions. As we move further into a future in which privacy is hard to come by, I think it is important to develop connections with images and places like this to remind us to slow down and take a moment to ourselves every so often. Future generations might not have the luxury of quiet, empty spaces like this.
