This bear has been in captivity in the zoo in Osnabruck for a very long time. Now older than any bear out in the wild she is suffering from being almost blind and bad hips. You can see that this beautiful animal is broken by being captured this long. Imagine never being able to walk outside of a 25 by 25 meter square. Imagine seeing people on the other side of the fence staring at you each and every day. Just imagine being her and you'll know what she feels like.
