    I saw movement in an Elderberry Tree at the National Arboretum so I stopped to see what was in the tree. I soon saw an American Robin munching on the berries. The leaves are poisonous to humans but the berries are fine for consumption when cooked, though it's clear that birds like them raw .... down it goes!
