I captured this picture on a Boy Scout trip in the Florida Keys, known as Sea Base. For five days, my crew and I lived on a 40-foot sailboat named Rosso di Sera, which our 80-year old Italian crew captain told us means "red in the evening" and symbolizes "all good things." This perfectly described the sunset pictured and my entire sailing experience. We cooked great meals, snorkeled in pristine waters, and slept under the stars. The sunset and experience felt surreal and near-impossible to top.
