This is part of a collection of photographs from a project I was a part of during the summer of 2017. The project's aim was to save a vernacular farm house in the Tibetan Christian village of Cizhong, near Shangri-la in Yunnan, China. The farm house will be inundated in December 2017 because of a new damn constructed on the Mekong River. The farmer allowed us to study and disassemble his house so that it might be reconstructed elsewhere - so that its culture and history may be preserved.
