Southern Cassowary
This is a long neck of a Southern Cassowary. This Australian endangered flightless bird comes from the family of Emu, Ostrich and Kiwi. Saw this bird in the Featherdale Wildlife Park. I was particularly attracted to its beautiful and brightly colored long neck with amazing lines & wrinkles and a horn like casque, which showed some pattern on it. It is said that the colors and the patterns of its neck, wattles and head change according to its mood.
