    Here is another photo taken of my Nepali brother during the Tihar festival. In his expression I felt there were a mix of emotions: a dawning of an understanding towards the responsibilities of growing up and an intuitive reverence towards the events he was being involved in without perhaps a full understanding of the 'why'. This capture reminded me of those perplexing times growing up when the world of youthful innocence and play met the 'adult' worlds of tradition and culture.
