As I was heading back to the car and ready to call it a day, I spotted this seal sun baking on a kayak behind a mored boat. I could see a kayaker coming into view, so I waited until the kayaker was framed, so as to make the background a little more interesting. Luckily the seal happened to sit up at this moment, affording a view of his half open eyes (he'd been sleeping).
