Recently, I set out to photograph the per usual collection of tide pool invertebrates. Instead of finding sea stars, urchins and anemones, I came across a sedentary pool where an array of bubbles had formed, and was reflecting a rainbow of colors. The motionless water appeared to be graced with hundreds of glass jewels from our natural world.
