I'm always a little sad to see July end. This particular evening and this particular end of July were particularly beautiful. I was lucky to be on a remote pebble beach on a lake in Quebec. My consolation for the loss of July of 2017 was that I felt that the view could have been the same had I been here five thousand years ago.
