    One of the most common shots of humpback whales you will find. I am a sucker for sharp detail. I have hundreds of whale tail shots but this photo always stood out to me. You can see the barnacles on the tail and these are often used to scratch other whales during competition. These barnacles will eventually fall off in the warmer Hawaiian waters.
