Mommy helps her little boy with the feathers around his face. Like any child getting their face cleaned, he shrinks away from her and makes the task difficult. His sister to his left is my curious observer. In the foreground, another sister (left) preens under her wing as her brother (right) naps. I love the color of the trees and sky reflecting in the water, which makes the babies' developing feathers really pop.
