In modern Bhutan cinema halls are the oldest form of media communication penetrating the entire country. The first cinema hall was started in 1960 and the one at thimphu in 1972.Internet and televisions were introduced recently in 1999.With the introduction of newer mass media and information technology a transition from a traditional society into the age of information and technologyhas been clearly visible.Question arises whether this has changed the traditional values of Bhutanese !!!!
