MONSOON HIMALAYA
Hampta Pass is an unusual, special pass of Pir Pangal Himalaya. It climbs out of lush green valleys of Kullu to a perpendicular overhang, high in the mountains. During my trek to this pass faced the meadow near Jobra (9,800 ft, where we pitched our first camp). A beautiful stream named Rani Nallah or Rani river flowing in between and on either side you will see hills with rock faces and the foreground is covered by the vivid monsoon flowers. This was really a mesmerising mountain landscape.
