I came across this man drawing portraits in Dar es Salaam. He was a former soldier in the Tanzanian army. Since the mid 1980's, he has been walking the streets of Dar and lives on the beaches and he much prefers this occupation to his last. He has traded in his gun for a pen. A man of war living in
