This is Abuela, to anyone and everyone in a tiny village three hours deep (by boat) into the Amazon rainforest. She carries a machete with her at all times, hauls sand and flour on her back, and is seventy five years old. She's the most badass person I've ever met in my entire life - keeps her family fed and happy, keeps her autistic nephew busy and calm, and keeps her zest for life, all at the same time.
