Her father left to the US before she was born and came back when she was three years old. To her, her father was her uncle and this man who was now in her home was a stranger. As she begins to trust her father, her mother gets pregnant and gives birth to her sister. She struggles with the attention the newborn gets, she feels that her parents don’t love her the way they love her, the little blonde girl. At one time she asks her father if he loves his sister more, because she is blonde.
